MomentFTP 1.0
Mac App Store launch
New: server groups
- Click + next to Servers › New Group… (⇧⌘G) to add a group folder to the sidebar, and organize dozens of servers by project or environment
- Select several servers with ⌘ or ⇧ and drag them into a group or back to Ungrouped — or right-click › Move to Group
- Rename, reorder and fold groups; empty groups invite you to drop servers in; search expands matching groups
- Deleting a group moves its servers to Ungrouped, keeping their settings and Keychain passwords
- The Group field when adding or editing a server is now a menu, with New Group… built in
- Groups saved by name in older versions are converted to group folders automatically, after a backup to servers.v1-backup.json
Custom pane layouts
- ⌘T adds a pane (up to four), ⌘W closes one; drag a pane by its header to dock it above, below, left or right of another pane, or swap the two
- Equalize (⌃⌘=) evens out the sizes without changing the layout; double-click a divider to reset it
- Layout, proportions, servers and paths are remembered and restored on next launch
New
- A Help menu with Support & FAQ, the privacy policy and release notes, opened from pages bundled with the app
- A new "liquid wave" app icon
Fixes
- Servers in the sidebar can be dragged onto a pane to connect (previously they couldn't be dragged)
- After switching panes with ⌘1–4, keyboard focus now follows, so shortcuts like delete and rename only affect the active pane
- Menu shortcuts occasionally stopped working
- The app could occasionally launch without a window; clicking the Dock icon now always reopens it
Known limitations
- Partial transfers can't be resumed yet; retries start from the beginning
- ssh-agent, PuTTY .ppk keys and jump hosts aren't supported yet
- S3, WebDAV and SMB aren't supported
- The interface is currently in Chinese only
